When Yes Doesn’t Actually Mean Yes

Written by on October 5, 2014

I’ve started thanking people when they say “no” to me.

Potential clients, friends, people I’d like to interview for, people who’s houses I’ve asked to stay at…

It feels really good to me.

No is an extremely powerful stance to take. It can free up tremendous amounts of stuck energies, get people out of depressions, bring in a lot of money, and create deepened connection.

No creates space for the truest kind of yes.

I’m committed to searching out the nos that aren’t being said, whether by myself or the person in front of me, and creating a safe space for them to be voiced.

What gets to happen in the world when EVERYONE feels safe saying “no”?
